Days of Faith 18

Days of Faith 18

One of our friends Indiana came to visit us during A3C weekend. I knew this was going to be a test for me all about how I was going to respond.

Usually, when people come at me with these conversations I just ignore them and don’t care because I know they don’t understand.

I knew I had to fight the good fight of faith in the presence of many witnesses.

So of course when he comes into town we have an argument on what I’m doing with my life….

When these things happen your faith is forced open and it shows your true colors. (James 1:4 NKJV)

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
turn your backs on the world’s “sure thing,” (Psalms 40:4)

So when he started talking about a plan B I already knew it was easier for me to consider what God say’s over when he said.

I NEVER doubted that I’m going to make it and have a prosperous rap career. But since I’ve seen it scripturally now I knew why. I was completely unmoved by what he was talking about.

IF you have confidence in God’s Word you’re not worried about what other people are talking about.

Regular rules don’t apply to me. I operate on a different system. The keys that work in your world don’t work in mine.

Ctrl+ ATL+ Delete may do something in your world but does nothing in mine. (See Reference)

I told him live from faith to faith.

This is what it means to fight the good fight of faith. I was really standing on this particular scripture.

But My righteous one [the one justified by faith] shall live by faith [respecting man’s relationship to God and trusting Him];
And if he draws back [shrinking in fear], My soul has no delight in him.  (Hebrews 10:38)

After all the attempting to convince me of a plan B at the end, he says…Well it seems to be working for you. lol

Listen… I know what it looks like be here’s my response to it.

The music industry seems to be going underwater and while everybody is in a panic, I’m chilling cause I know Jesus is on my boat.

And when my boat lords over the ocean don’t think you have to come aboard my ship. You can have Jesus on your boat too.
