Days of Faith 7
Today marks the 1st 7 days of my 30 days of faith I’m doing. On day 1 of my 30 days, I was on the phone with my Mother that morning and she made some side comments about me not having a washer & dryer.
Randomly by that afternoon, there was a new washer & dryer sitting in the living room.
It reminded me that persecution is a good thing.
That’s the kind of God I serve.
I’ve been responding to emotions by scriptures and I’ve been experiencing a level of peace I hadn’t experienced before because I understood how to labor in this rest.
Everything was all good until day 5 when somebody triggered my impulses to operate on the PC system.
Somebody gased me up about my social media…
So now I wanna really get on what that comment triggered for me:
- Confidence in Self (look at what I’m doing & how many followers I have)
- Caring what others think of me (Who did or did not like one of my pics)
- and works of the flesh. (Grinding in self-effort put constant content on there in hopes I get next level opportunities)
I’m not saying anything that you guys don’t agree with because this is the way we naturally think. But then I remembered this…
18Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say,
“He traps the wise
in the snare of their own cleverness.”
20 And again,
“The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise;
he knows they are worthless.
21 So don’t boast about following a particular human leader. For everything belongs to you— 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Peter, or the world, or life and death, or the present and the future. Everything belongs to you, 23 and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
1 Corinthians 3:18-23 (NLT)
There is a better operating system you can be on and that’s where I’m putting my effort in. That’s where the work comes. Seeking the Kindom of God first really null and voids everything in that above triangle.
So for the rest of the week, I’m spending extra time building up these 3 areas while keeping my mind at rest so I can stay in this realm of manifestation.
Next week I’ll keep you posted on the progress. My goal is to make a complete transformation until this new operating system by the end of the 30 days.
